Photo Walk-abouts: F-Stops & Shutter Speeds Workshop

Workshop: F-Stops, Shutter Speeds & All That

2 Hour / 8 Person Max (Click here for full calendar)

Aperture, shutter speed, white balance, ISO, metering mode, depth of field. You've heard the terms but you don't really know what they are all about and how and when to use them. You've always wondered what to do when your on-camera flash blows out the subject or what these different metering modes are. Then this workshop is for you! We will go over these topics in greater depth so that you have an understanding of how and when to use them. This is not a shooting workshop but you will leave with assignments to help you practice what you have learned. All are welcome but this workshop is best for those with an SLR or a camera that allows manipulations of the shutter speed and aperture. Please bring your camera to class.

All workshops will be 2 hours long, limited to 8 participants total and $60 each. Historical commentary will not be included in the workshops; we will focus solely on photography.
