Learn to capture the bright lights of the city at night as well as other creative tricks such as light writing. We'll start off by discussing some tips for photographing at night or in low light conditions and then head out to photograph in and around Times Square. This workshop is best for those with an SLR or other camera that is capable of fully manipulating the shutter speed and aperture. Your camera should have a timer function or a shutter release cable and you will need a monopod or tripod. It is also best if you have a thorough understanding of how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work in conjunction to determine the proper exposure of an image.
All workshops will be 2 hours long, limited to 8 participants total and $60 each. Historical commentary will not be included in the workshops; we will focus solely on photography.
